Do I, or my guests, need to install any apps?
No, Snaps runs entirely in your browser (e.g. Chrome or Safari). But it works just like any other app - think of it as an "instant app".
Are uploaded photos & videos altered in any way?
No. Snaps does not resize, compress or change your uploads in any way.
How do guests upload photos & videos?
You will have your own private URL & QR code that guests can access with their mobiles via a web browser - no app required! And guests can upload multiple items at once.
Can I customise the look?
Yes, you can customise the font, colour and background of your guest app splash screen - this will be what your guests see when they open your album.
Can I download & print the QR code?
Yes! Your QR code can be downloaded and used in any way you'd like - print it on invitations, or table displays, for easy access at your event.
What are secure location-based uploads?
This is a security feature unique to Snaps and if active, only allows uploads taken at your chosen event venue - all other uploads will be blocked. This is optional and can be toggled on/off in your event settings at any time - even during your event.
What is Snaps LiveCast?
LiveCast is a fun, interactive way to showcase photo uploads in real time. Each photo is enhanced to create a rich, cinematic look and then displayed in a slick slideshow. The LiveCast can be displayed on projectors and big-screen displays/TVs using HDMI or wireless via Apple screen mirroring or Google Chromecast. Note that photos are only processed in the LiveCast, leaving the untouched originals in your album.
What happens after the event?
Download everything in one click. We store your data & uploads until your package expiration, after which all your personal data & uploads are permanently deleted.
Is my data really private?
Absolutely! We keep your data & uploads for the duration of your package. We use no third party or external services, so your data never leaves our servers. When your package expires, all your uploads and your data are permanently deleted.
